01Who TechTrack is for

TechTrack is used by staff, not by students. Mentors, trainers and the dean sign in with credentials issued by Aditya University to see how the students in their care are attending, paying and practising.

Students do not have accounts and cannot sign in. Their information appears in the app because the university already holds it, and because the people responsible for them need it to do their work.

02Information we collect about you

TechTrack collects only what it needs to sign you in and show you your own work.

• User ID The employee ID issued by Aditya University. You do not create an account inside the app, and TechTrack never asks for your personal email address or phone number.
• Your name and role Returned by the university's sign-in service. Your name is attached to any record you write, and your role decides what you are shown.
• Sign-in credentials Your user ID and password are held in your device's secure storage — the Keychain on iOS, encrypted storage on Android — so the app can renew your session in the background instead of asking you to sign in again every hour. They are sent only to the university's own sign-in service, over an encrypted connection, and never anywhere else.

03Student information in the app

TechTrack does not create student records. It reads what the university already holds and presents it to the staff member responsible:

• Identity and contact details Name, roll number, branch, college, university email address and mobile number — so a mentor can reach a student who has stopped attending.
• Attendance Which sessions a student was present for, and the percentages worked out from them.
• Fees Which terms have been paid, and the amounts recorded against them.
• Coding practice Counts of problems solved on the university's practice portal, and the public profile links a student has supplied.

What you can see depends on your role. A trainer or a pool mentor sees the batches and students mapped to them; the whole department's rosters are open only to the dean.

04Records you create

Two things in TechTrack are written by staff rather than read from elsewhere, and both are deliberately visible to colleagues.

• Absence follow-ups Why a student missed a session, and whether you reached them by phone or in person. Recorded so that a second mentor does not ring the same student again.
• Proctoring reviews What came of sitting down with a student. Read by the dean and by that student's other mentors.

05What the app never collects

TechTrack does not collect or request any of the following:

• Microphone or audio
• Camera
• Photos
• Location
• Contacts
• Calendar
• Health information
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or usage tracking
• Your personal email or phone number

Tapping a student's number or email address hands off to your phone's own dialler or mail app. TechTrack does not place the call, read your call history, or see what you send.

06How information is used

The information in TechTrack is used only to:

• Authenticate you as a member of university staff.
• Show you the students, batches and pools you are responsible for.
• Report attendance, fee and coding-practice figures.
• Record and share follow-ups and reviews between the staff responsible for a student.
• Produce the spreadsheets you choose to export.

It is not used to profile staff, to measure how often you open the app, or for anything outside the running of these programs.

07Spreadsheets you export

Any list in TechTrack can be downloaded as a spreadsheet. The file contains exactly the students on screen and the figures already shown beside them — an export can never reveal more than you could already read.

08Data sharing

TechTrack does not sell, rent or share information with advertisers or marketing companies, and it contains no third-party analytics or advertising software. Information moves only between the app and Aditya University's own servers, and may be disclosed only where the law requires it.

09Data security & retention

All communication between the app and the university's servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Your sign-in credentials and session are held in the platform's own secure storage — the iOS Keychain, or encrypted storage on Android — and not in ordinary app preferences.

The app keeps a copy of the figures it has fetched so that screens can be read while the network is poor. That copy lives in the app's private storage and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

Attendance, fee and student records are held by the university for as long as its own policies require. Follow-ups and reviews remain part of a student's record, because they are the account of what the university did for that student.

10Account & data deletion

Signing out clears everything TechTrack has stored on your device. To remove your account entirely, follow the steps on the account deletion page. Requests are normally completed within 30 days.
