Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your access to Echo and, subject to the records the University is required to keep, the responses, recordings and results linked to your account.
If you only want to sign out of a device, use Log out inside the app — you do not need to delete your account to do that.
01How to request deletion
Email the support team from your university email address. Include the details below so your identity can be verified.
Send a deletion request
Include the following in your email:
- badge User ID / Roll number The ID you use to sign in to Echo
- school Batch / programme If you know it — helps us locate your record

02What happens next
- We verify your identity Support confirms the request came from the account holder.
- Your account is disabled or deleted Depending on University policy, the account is deactivated or removed permanently.

03Data that may be retained
Some information may be kept where applicable law, regulation or Aditya University academic-records policy requires it — for example, an official record that an assessment was completed. Anything retained is held only for legal, academic, security or compliance purposes, and is not used for any other reason.
